THE CHURCH WORSHIPS TOGETHER

~Gathering~

Prelude: "He, Watching Over Israel"

                                 - Mendelsohn, arr. Jan Sanborn

Welcome& Announcements

Focus Statement:

Jesus told his disciples not to be anxious about things like having enough food and clothing and worrying about how long we will live.  He told them of God’s care for the birds, and the work of His loving hand seen in beautiful flowers he creates. Jesus reminded them that the Father knew their needs and would provide for them, and that their hearts should be set on seeking God’s kingdom first. How can we grow in learning to seek God’s Kingdom first, as we live out our calling to follow Christ today?

Time of Meditation: "God So Loved the World"

                                                    - Stainer, arr. Jan Sanborn
