THE CHURCH WORSHIPS TOGETHER__________________________________________________________________________________________

5th Sunday of Easter

God's Dwelling is Here

~Gathering~

Prelude: "Praise the Lord"--arr. Doran

Welcome & Announcements:

Focus Statement:  We are confronted with the question of who we are, and who we are not the chosen people of God, just like Peter and the early church.  We are confronted with the question of where God is at work in the world and how to recognize God's activity, even outside the walls of our building and missions of our denomination.  We are confronted by how to answer God's call to be involved everywhere God is involved.   (Jeanne L. Warner)

Time of Meditation: "He Leadeth Me"--arr. Young

*Call to Worship:

L:  God who spoke the world into being, speak your wisdom among us today.

P:  We seek your wisdom to live in shalom with all creation.

L:  God who loves the world extravagantly, draw us near to your heart this day.

P:  We seek to know your perfect love that drives our all fear.

L:  God who gives bread to the hungry, fills us with courage to freely share the bread of your Word.

P:  We seek your power to loosen our shackled tongues that the whole might rejoice to hear the Good News of Jesus Christ.

All:  Come, let us unite our voices in praise of God!
